- 2007 marked the beginning of the WRPL and in this year three different men wore the WRPL World Championship, Chris2038win, Chris, and EvanCrowley! Chris became the first two-time World Champion at the Survivor Series in November and went on the hold the title throughout the end of the year.

- The WRPL Internet Championship was created late 2007 and the first champion, Bombstriker, was determined after winning a tournament to crown the first ever IC Champion.

- The Tag Team Titles were created in October at Bound for Glory in a 3-Team TLC Match. Bombstriker & Chris2038win were victorious and as ironic as it would seem Chris2038win was the first World Champion then first Tag Team Champ, and Bombstriker was the first IC Champ and then first Tag Team Champion.

- By the time the end of the year awards rolled around two were given out, the WRPL 2007 Superstar of the Year award, and the 2007 Tag Team of the Year award. Chris was a easy choice as Superstar of the year by dominating in nearly all of his matches, and Bombstriker & Chris2038win went on to win the Tag Team of Year award after holding the tag straps on two occasions.
