- With seven months past and five to go who are the standouts
for the WRPL Rookie of the Year Award? An award that was not
awarded last year, only the best of the best will claim this
fame and lets take a look at who is available to win!
chappie21: Still wet behind the ears this guy has been
climbing up the ranks as fast as possible. He is competing in
all WRPL events except house shows. He brings strong WWE
knowledge along with a good wrestling background. His MMA skills
are nearly unmatched in the WRPL MMA division which shows great
promise for this WRPL Rookie.
Coach G: Debuting at the Royal Rumble this year this man
has YET to no show a WRPL event and is staying high among the
point standings. His record does not stick out among most and
some say that he chokes in the big matches but he has a whole 5
months to step his game up and win this award!
destructor: Okay lets face it, some people have a chance
on winning this award but destructor simply won't. Not trying to
be mean but somehow this man as only won one WRPL official event
(not house shows) since debuting at WRPL Lights! Camera! CZW! If
there is an award for the biggest heart this guy keeps coming
back month after month in attempts to pick up his second
victory!
DieHard: Debuting just last month at WRPL Night of
Champions this man has aligned himself with Damage Inc. and
plans to get gold around his waist soon. Little is known about
his skills at this time but come December we will see where he
stands!
IhasAsuhvel: Lately this man has landed some huge wins
and since his debut at WRPL Wrestlemania I he has began to step
into the light. After a short tag run with Big Show, IhasAshuvel
has branched off on his own has has earned himself a WRPL World
Championship Match next month at WRPL Hard Justice! Winning the
World Title will be hard to beat for Rookie of the Year!
Macho Trashyman: Well..... he has won gold! Macho
Trashyman is probably the least successful singles wrestler in
WRPL history thus far but when he teams with TheRickDaddy they
did the unthinkable and defeated the hottest Tag Team the WRPL
has seen, Prediction Infliction. With gold under his resume, you
can't completely count this man out of the running.
RE Media: Still trying to find his roots, RE Media is
looking to team with friend styles4671, maybe together they can
make a name for themselves because it has been a rough start of
the both of them thus far on their own.
scsa1fan: Only debuting this month at WRPL The Great
American Bash, scsa1fan us defeated but with hard work and
dedication he might be able to possess what it takes to be
crowned the WRPL Rookie of the Year.
styles4671: Just like RE Media, styles4671 is looking to
make a name for himself and only debuted back at WRPL One Night
Stand at the beginning of last month. There are bright spots in
this mans future you can count on that.
TheRickDaddy: One half of The Cameltoes and a former WRPL
Tag Team Champion this man is nearing the top of this rookie
class. Only Rick and Trashy have held gold out of all the
rookies so far but Rick plans on stepping away from the tag
scene and going at it alone for a while. He claims he will find
himself and find gold in the process, in the months to come
don't be surprised if you see this dedicated superstar with even
more gold around his waist.
tmgking: Struggling as a singles competitor tmgking
teamed up with Bonus Box to create the unique team of The Kings
of the Boxes! These two have battled against the best teams the
WRPL has to offer and have won, but just have yet to claim gold!
With the Kings of the Boxes the tag team number one contenders
will their luck turn around and will they be able to leave their
mark in history.... lets hope so.

- Days after defeating The Cameltoes at WRPL The Great American
Bash administrators backstage called fouls on WRPL veteran Chris
and his tag team partner Styles Clash. It appeared that month
after month both members have posted under the same IP and were
registered under the same email address. The people higher up
than just the WRPL brought the hammer down and demanded Styles
Clash to be fired and Chris be suspended indefinitely.
- After hearing the news Chris turned to violence and attacked a
couple admins and was banned from being anywhere near the WRPL.
It is a shame that Chris tired to pull one over the the WRPL by
sneaking in another name and it shouldn't have gotten as ugly as
it did.
- So in the end the WRPL is sad to report that former WRPL
3-Time World Champion, Chris, will no longer be a member of the
active roster until further notice.

- Vince McMahon is becoming seemingly unbeatable. After winning
the title from Will at WRPL Judgment Day back in May, Vince has
been on a tear. Defending the title three times already through
July who is going to be the one to topple this man? He says he
isn't afraid of anyone in the power rankings and the only person
that can beat him is himself....
- With Vince eyeing WRPL dominance his opponents continue to
step up but fall just short of the gold. This man is proving why
he is the champion and why he plans on taking the WRPL Wrestler
of the Year award. He is over the halfway mark, lets see what he
can do.

Show Topic: The Great American Bash
- With the King of the Ring Tournament well underway we find
ourselves in the semi-finals where in both matches stable mates
seem to be squaring off against one another!
- First off on the left side of the brackets we have the main
event of the evening! Rico will be facing Bombstriker, and not
ONLY is the crown on the line so is the prestigious WRPL
Internet Championship Title!!! So the stakes simply could not be
higher come this Sunday! The winner will be getting a one way
ticket to WRPL's biggest PPV of the summer, WRPL SummerSlam!
Rico has proven himself time and time again as a singles
competitor, unlike his opponent Bombstriker who just doesn't
seem to leave his mark in singles competition. Will The Great
American Bash be his chance to finally step up and say he can
stand alone?
- Then on the right side of the brackets we find wyldflamez
going up against misterCraig! This should also be a blockbuster
match up seeing how these two know each other so very well. Both
know what it takes to get the job done but having suffered some
bad losses at the WRPL Victory Road can they rebound and pull
off a good outing at the Bash? Either way, one of these two will
be heading to SummerSlam to try and capture the crown and be
known as the King (Or Queen!!!) of the entire WRPL!!!

Jackson Vs. Griffin [86] (MMA)

- With the growing popularity of MMA the WRPL created a new
championship to its name, the WRPL Mixed-Martial Arts
Championship!
- The main event at WRPL Jackson Vs. Griffin [86] featured two
undefeated WRPL MMA Superstars, tmgking (2-0) and Rico (2-0).
Rico has already established success in the wrestling portion of
the WRPL but tonight was his night as he became the first ever
MMA Champion! After a low scoring total of 5 points to -4 Rico
slapped on a triangle choke and forced tmgking to tap out!!!
- Rico plans on this being just another stepping stone towards
becoming the greatest WRPL superstar ever. He has shown his
knowledge in wrestling and looks to be bringing in some MMA
expertise to without a doubt place him on the top of the WRPL.
The sky is the limit for this man.
